Forgiveness saves the expense of anger, the cost of hatred, and the waste of energy!Luke 6:37: Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven. Ephesians 4:32: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Hatred is so vile and destructive to the human personality that John tells us, “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer.” There is no cure for hatred, but there is a spiritual cure. Confess it to Christ and ask His forgiveness. God does not expect us to forgive in our own strength, but if we submit our bitterness and resentment to Him He will cleanse our hearts and give us divine love which enables us to forgive. Then we are forgiven. His full and free forgiveness is ours.
