Dr. Joe Fauss
Joe is founder, president and interational director of Calvary Commission and serves as President of Calvary Bible Institute.
Nathan Cole
Graduate of Calvary Bible Institute, Missionary
in Leon, Mexico, Pastor of Gente en La Roca and
Founder of IBC-Online (Lideres Con Integridad.)
Nathan & Laura are missionaries and founding pastors of Gente En
La Roca in central Mexico, They have been serving in León,
Guanajuato since 2005. They have 2 children, Jonathan & Rebeca.
"Our desire is to fulfill the Great Commission and change our
city for for Jesus' sake, by preaching, teaching and
doing outreach through our local church." - Nathan
David Gearheart
David Gearheart, now 56 years old, came to adulthood near Tyler, Tx. A year after receiving a Bachelor's degree from Nelson University in Elementary Education in 1991, he joined an A/G minister starting a Bible school in Moscow, Russia. Soon after, he married Nina, one of the Russian translators.
For the next 30 years, they were long-term missionaries involved with planting new churches and strengthening existing Slavic churches in Eastern Europe / Western Russia. David and Nina have 5 children and one grandchild.
Today, their family lives on campus at Calvary Commission in Lindale, Tx as staff members. David serves as voluntary chaplain and teacher at CBI.
David Herndon
David Herndon is the Senior Pastor of Church of Living Hope in Tyler, TX and has pastored there for 7 years. He received Christ in a Texas prison chapel service that was led by Calvary Commission.
He is a Calvary Bible Institute graduate with a Bachelor’s degree, and has now been a part of the Calvary Commission family since 2010.
David serves Calvary Commission as the Media Team Coordinator and also assists on the local leadership council. He is married to Krysta and they have 3 children
Matt Burton
Matt Burton is the lead pastor of All Generations Church in Lockhart, Texas. Matt and his wife, PJ grew up in Lockhart, and have attended at All Generations since their marriage in 2000. Matt has served as youth pastor, associate pastor, and became lead pastor in 2021 when the founding pastor, Leo Miller, retired.
Matt is also a teacher at Lockhart High School. His work in education has included all grade levels, various subjects and school districts, and a special assignment working with students from all over the world at an immigration school. He has been the teacher of record for more than 13,000 students. Matt and PJ served as missionaries in Burgos, Tamaulipas, Mexico from 2005-2009. They have 4 daughters, Trinity, Micah, Emory, and Avilyn.
Leo Miller
Leo Miller has been in ministry for 47 years. He found Jesus Christ while serving time in a Texas
prison. He paroled out to Teen Challenge in 1977, which soon transitioned into the ministry of
Calvary Commission. There he met his wife, Terry, and was married in 1979 continuing with
Calvary Commission until 1987 when Leo felt God calling him to pioneer a church in Lockhart,
Texas.
He served as Pastor to All Generations Church for 34 years as well as establishing a
business, Leo Miller & Sons Roofing. Through those years the Lord blessed him with a happy
home of 9 children and now with 5 grandchildren. He loves spending time with them and wife
after retirement in 2021.
Gary Tebbe
Gary Tebbe and wife Amelia are missionaries with Calvary Commission. In 2010 they founded a Christian school for children and planted a new church in the city of Huánuco, Peru. Currently, Gary is an instructor at Calvary Bible Institute in Lindale, Texas.

Join Us for Labor Day Blast, 2024!
Summertime is here which means Labor Day is right around the corner. Start making plans to join us on September 2nd for our annual Labor Day Blast. Labor Day at Calvary Commission is celebrated with lots of laughter, delicious food, clean fun, live music and free games including door prizes!
Starting at 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM we will offer a wide variety of games and activities for the entire family, there will surely be something everyone can enjoy! Games will include a dunking booth, bounce houses, basketball, volleyball, and much more. The kids will love the face painting, snow cones and more.
At 4:00 PM we will serve BBQ with all the good ole East Texas fixins! We will also have hot dogs, nachos and incredible dessert pies.
We will also have music and games indoors for those who want to relax and escape the hot Texas sun.
Labor Day Blast is surely something you do not want to miss out on! The truly unbelievable part is tickets are only $10.00 per person and $20.00 (5) per family.
